Bread and Butter Digital LLC (“BnB”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and makes efforts to ensure the safekeeping of any information you submit to us and ensure such information is used responsibly.  This Privacy Notice provides you with an understanding of how we collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our websites and other online services, including, without limitation, our mobile websites and applications.

We may modify this Privacy Notice from time to time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on our website or upon updating any mobile application(s). If BnB makes material changes to this Privacy Notice, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use the collected information, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

2 – Information BnB Collects
BnB collects information from and about you when you provide the information directly to us as well as to our hosting service when you utilize our website, located at www.breadnbutter.com, and other online services. The information includes, but is not limited to, information provided via one or more of our online services by you to us asa client, prospective client, or former client.

Personal Information: You may provide us with personal information, including but not limited to, the following:

1. Name and/or email address.
2. Social media user names.

Non-Personal Information: Our hosting service, discussed below, may also collect analytic data to maintain the high quality and service of BnB’s website and other online services using automated means such as cookies, server logs, web beacons, pixel tags, etc. The collected analytic data may include, but is not limited to, the following:

1. Your internet protocol (“IP”) address.
2. Your basic location information (strictly a group statistic), i.e., state/city you are located in.
3. Cookie session IDs.
4. The page(s) you visited, and the time spent on each page.
5. Features you used/searched for.
6. Web browser you used during your visit.

8. Device identifiers.
9. The link that referred/brought you to our website or online services generally.

3 – Consent
How does BnB get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information, utilize our website or other online services, you consent to BnB collecting your information and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason(e.g., marketing), we will either ask you directly for your express consent orprovide you with an opportunity to say “no.”

How do I withdraw my consent?
If you change your mind after you opt-in, you may withdraw your consent for BnB to contact you by contacting us at hello@breadnbutter.com. However, we may retain particular information as needed for legitimate business purposes or as required by law.

4 – What BnB Does with Your Information
BnB uses the information collected for various purpose, including, but not limited to:
1. Provide you services as requested by you.
2. Provide you with technical support and/or administrative messages.
3. Respond to your questions, comments, and/or requests.
4. Send you notices, updates, security alerts with respect to your questions, comments, and/or requests.

BnB may also share the collected information with, or use the collected information in conjunction with, third-parties as follow:

3. With government agencies, regulatory bodies, courts, and/or representatives as required by applicable law or in connection with the services we provide to you.

Additionally, your information may be transferred in connection with a merger, sale, or other asset transfer of BnB to a third-party. For example, if we are involved in a merger, due diligence, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, reorganization, liquidation, sale of assets, or transition of our services to another entity, your information maybe transferred as part of the transaction as allowed by contract and/or law.

Furthermore, we may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if we believe you have violated our Terms of Use or other policies, or to protect our rights, property, and/or safety or the rights, property, and/or safety of any third party.

6 – Third-Party Content/Services
Our website is hosted by a third-party hosting service, Webflow. In general, the third-party providers used by BnB will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.  Additionally, we may include links or embed information on our website to third-party websites, services, applications, and/or content.  

These third-parties, such as Webflow, are separate entities from us and have their own privacy notices and terms of use.  We strongly recommend you review the privacy notices and terms of use of these separate entities to fully understand how each of these entities uses your information. BnB has no specific information regarding the privacy policies of these third-parties and we encourage you to contact the providers for additional details pertaining to privacy notices that may allow collection of information by any such entities.

Once you leave our website and/or other online services or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Notice or our Terms of Use.  

Links: When you click on links on our website and/or other online services, the links may direct you away from BnB’s website. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and we encourage you to read the privacy statements for all websites, software, and online services you visit/utilize.

Surveys and Interviews If you choose to participate in a survey conducted by BnB on behalf of another entity, we will collect information and opinions that you agree to give us that may include: name, email address, social media user name(s), occupation, industry of occupation, years in industry, educational background, preferences, thoughts and opinions on the topic(s) of the survey/interview. We will share this collected information with the survey/interview sponsor. Our collection and use of this information will be subject to our agreement with the survey/interview sponsor. The survey/interview sponsors are separate entities from us and have their own privacy notices and terms of use. We strongly recommend you review the privacy notices and terms of use of these separate entities to fully understand how each of these entities uses your information.

7 – Retention
We will store your collected information for as long as necessary for the purpose the information was collected or any additional purposes you request of us and for our legitimate business uses as well as in accordance with our legal obligations.  

8 – Notice to California Customers
Subject to the limitations under California Civil Code § 1798.83, we will not disclose your personal information to third-parties for the third-parties’ direct marketing use without your express consent or without providing you with the chance to say “no.”

9 – Protecting Your Information
To protect your personal information, BnB follows usual and customary industry practices to ensure your information is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

Credit card information is not directly accepted on our website and/or other online services.

10 – Cookies
Please be advised that our hosting provider, Webflow, may use cookies to collect general information about your visit that will be retained and used by Webflow.  By using our website and/or other online services, you expressly consent to such use and collection.  To withdraw your consent after accepting the cookies, delete them from your browser.  For more information on cookies and deletion of cookies, please visit: http://www.allaboutcookies.org/ You can stop cookies from being deployed on your computer by configuring your browser not to accept them.  Please refer to your browser’s help section for more information.  Be aware that deleting certain cookies can disrupt normal website and/or service functionality.

To the extent applicable, BnB complies with the requirements of the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act. We will not target our offerings towards, or knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from, children under 13 years of age.

This Privacy Notice applies only to information collected through BnB’s website and other online services as well as through sponsored interviews/surveys, but not to other information collected offline.

14 – Security
Information emailed to BnB via the Internet, including without limitation our contact page on the BnB website, is not secure and could be intercepted by others. We recommend you do not use email to send private or sensitive data about yourself or others unless it is encoded or encrypted. BnB uses usual and customary industry encryption and cybersecurity policies to protect your contact information and other personal information.
