Creative Director

Overview
You are a strategic creative leader with a deep understanding and passion for design and
branding who is capable of bringing concepts to life across a range of digital and traditional
media. You’re a visual storyteller who enjoys the craft and nuance of great design and has
developed the instincts and know-how to do incredible work at the pace of digital. You enjoy
being in the work—coming up with, and executing, your strategies and concepts—just as much
as inspiring and guiding the work of a creative team. You’re also looking to be a part of a small,
nimble group who’s looking to roll up their sleeves and build something great, together.
Skills and qualifications
- Expert at strategically crafting brands, campaigns, and designing digital experiences
- Loves developing brands from top to bottom and being hands-on through strategy, art
direction, design, concept development, and production
- Desire to build, grow, and help shape the future of an agency
- Thrives in collaborative, sprint-structured environments
- Enjoys working in strategic partnership with a team to create definition out of ambiguity
- Passionate about innovative digital trends and technologies
- Seasoned and effective presenter, who’s confident leading client meetings,

- Experience mentoring and managing creatives
- Strong personal and team marshalling skills

- Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio of incredible design and creative strategy

What you’ll be doing
- Helping build and cement agency practices while becoming a point of gravity as Bread n
Butter grows
- Visually designing campaigns and brands: developing color palettes, type families,
illustration/photography styles, etc.—then bringing them to life across a range of
channels
- Creating, managing, and coordinating the production of campaign and brand visuals
(photo shoots, video shoots, working with illustrators, etc.)
- Leading creative presentations for projects and clients under your direction
- Working on multiple projects at one time while managing your time efficiently
- Providing guidance, direction and mentorship to the creative team and freelancers- Regularly managing up to the ECD on work and identifying major opportunities and risks
with clients
- Partnering with ECD/writer as a creative team on high-profile projects and pitches
- Maintaining best practices for file management, including the consistent application of
naming conventions, project workflow tools and file/folder organization

Digital Strategist

Overview

You are a smart, savvy digital strategist who is driven, strategic and great at building and maintaining client relationships. You can do everything—from strategy and planning to implementation and digital marketing campaign management—like a pro. And you’re well-versed in emerging platforms, social media, paid advertising, and influencer marketing. You’ll lead the creation and day-to-day management of digital initiatives, campaigns, and projects. And serve as a client point of contact to spearhead our digital work. You’ll work across our clients supporting and leading social and digital, eventually moving into an account owner role—overseeing all creative and digital work across the account.

Skills and qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience as a social or digital strategist
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field
  • Finds the idea of trying stuff that’s never been done before exciting, not scared
  • Excellent writing and communications skills
  • Ability to distill information, reframe business problems, and connect dots between insight, creative, and strategy
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to move programs forward in a timely manner and set realistic expectations with clients
  • Organizes like a champ and has the ability to handle multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and ambiguity at once
  • Stays cool as a cucumber in a focused but fast-paced environment

What you’ll be doing

  • Identifying new opportunities to bring smart, strategic ideas to our work, and maintaining a positive relationship with our clients.
  • Using your eagle-eye to keep everything organized and on-point while developing holistic social media strategies and leading the implementation and management of these initiatives (i.e. social/digital marketing, influencer outreach, paid advertising, etc.).
  • Serving as the primary day-to-day contact with clients and team members, as well as managing digital and social campaigns through strategy, planning, implementation and measurement.
  • Partnering with the Group Client Director and other digital strategists to manage day-to-day relationships with some of our clients including managing the strategic direction of accounts, staffing and budgeting. Spearheading digital thought leadership, including social media and influencer marketing, for internal and external communications.
  • Staying seriously clued in to people and trends—regularly authoring POVs that provide digital updates, trends, best practices, and industry standards to our clients
  • Participating in new business as needed.
